What Do You Know About Leadership?

Leadership is about being able to influence people toward a particular goal. Leaders should not lack morality. Every leader is a product of the followers. Everything rises and falls on leadership.

Leaders carry influence that have been built overtime. Your leadership will always be tried. Leadership is the act of helping, guiding and influencing people toward a common goal.

As a leader, people should know you by your works and worth. As a leader, what keeps you ahead is knowledge. As a leader, you don't know much, you need others; but you must know more than the people you are leading. Charisma should be followed with character.

You are a leader to serve, not to be served. It is easy to kill a man when he is alone than to kill a group of people - The spirit of teamwork. In every leadership position, there is a spirit behind that seat. It is either you overcome the spirit or the spirit overcomes you. None of us is as smart as all of us. In every position, leave your foot prints in the sand of time.  A strong sense of mutual commitment creates synergy in any team.  One man is crucial in a team but not better than the whole group.

Some Attributes of Leaders:
1. They are unselfish.
2. They have the spirit of unity and oneness.
3. They listen to the complaints of their followers.
4. They act as back up for one another.
5. They engage in conflicts and discussions.
6. They are committed.
7. Accountability.
8. Character and integrity.
9. Always give deadlines.
10. They are result oriented.

As a good leader, listen to sense and nonsense because sense can come out from nonsense.

I listen to wise people and stupid people so that I will not be stupid. No matter any plan, just make sure that everyone is part of that plan.

When it comes to finance, money should not be the only motivating factor. MONEY ALWAYS COMES TO PEOPLE WHO ADD VALUE. WHY? BECAUSE MONEY ITSELF IS VALUE. SO ADD VALUE TO THE SOCIETY. MONEY ONLY COMES TO THOSE WHO SOLVE PROBLEMS.
In being accountable as a leader, do not wait for them to ask you about how you spent the money, tell them before they ask.

Remember, no position or condition is permanent. A student today is a lecturer tomorrow. Never look down on anyone.
